Job Details

Accounts Payable Clerk needed for an industry leading, nationwide cleanup and restoration company.

Responsibilities: 

  • Handling AP for 6 sets of books in QuickBooks
  • Processing payments: Paying bills and invoices from suppliers and other creditors 
  • Recording debts: Keeping track of short-term debts in the general ledger (GL) 
  • Verifying invoices: Ensuring that invoices match purchase orders and that goods or services were received before payment 
  • Maintaining records: Posting transactions, filing and maintaining supplier records, and producing financial records 
  • Reconciling accounts: Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and identifying discrepancies 
  • Maintaining relationships: Fostering positive relationships with vendors and suppliers by ensuring payments are made on time 
  • Incorporating electronic payments: Using electronic payment systems to process payments faster and improve relationships with vendors 

 
Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working in Accounts Payable required
  • Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or comparable work experience, preferred
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) required
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat preferred

 
Compensation Package:

  • $52,000 – $65,000 per year
