Making a Difference. It’s those little moments—a patient’s heartfelt “Thank you for caring for me today”—that make your work so rewarding. If you’re passionate about helping others and seeking a workplace that values both purpose and personal growth, this role is for you.
This behavioral organization’s mission is to end the stigmas around mental health and devote their lives to educating, supporting, and healing the world one clinic at a time. Guided by the vision of being a national leader for behavioral healthcare, program innovation and workforce development, it’s important to find other like-minded individuals who want to join in the journey.
As a Recovery Specialist, you will support individuals, young adults to geriatrics with person-centered, strength-based therapeutic care. Through crisis management, daily living support, and recovery planning, you’ll help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals in a positive, recovery-oriented environment.

What Your Day Looks Like:

  • Provide direct care and therapeutic support to individuals with mental health needs.
  • Demonstrate genuine understanding and concern for the challenges faced by individuals in recovery.
  • Pay close attention to verbal and non-verbal cues, ensuring individuals feel heard and understood.
  • Collaborate to create and implement individualized action plans focusing on recovery goals such as mental health education, independent living, substance use management, and vocational skills.
  • Assess situations effectively and provide thoughtful solutions, particularly in crisis scenarios.
  • Support daily activities, including meal delivery, room cleanliness, and transportation to appointments.
  • Respond to crises with face-to-face intervention, promoting safety and symptom management.
  • Adjust approaches and strategies to meet the evolving needs of each individual.
  • Facilitate community engagement through wellness, cultural, and social activities. Respect and incorporate diverse cultural, linguistic, and social perspectives into care delivery.
  • Document all interactions and plans according to organizational standards.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma required; one year of direct care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation required.
  • Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Passionate about mental health recovery and providing person-centered care.
  • Comfortable with documentation and technology, including EHR systems like NetSmart and Avatar.
  • MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • BLS certification highly preferred.
