Receptionist needed for an established law firm in Seattle.

Location: On-Site in Seattle, WA
We are seeking a personable and tech-savvy Receptionist to join a dynamic team in an award winning law firm. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, this role requires a high level of professionalism and people skills. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, overseeing the day-to-day activities in the conference center, and assisting with event coordination and resources, phone support, and more. The role requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as you will interact with clients and team members across the firm.

Contract position with potential for conversion after approximately 3 months
Schedule:
-
Desk hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, working as part of a 3-person team

This role will primarily cover mid-day shifts, overlapping with two other long-term receptionists

Typical shifts start between 8:30-9:00 AM (flexibility required; shifts could start as early as 7:00 AM or as late as 10:30 AM)

No parking available; excellent public transit options with direct access to bus and train
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm, professional welcome

Manage the reception desk, ensuring smooth operations and timely communication

Coordinate conference center activities, including internal and external business meetings, social events, and client engagements

Collaborate with a team of receptionists across the firm to answer phones and assist with inquiries

Handle document management and assist with various tech-based projects (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)

Stay informed of all activities in the conference center and act as a knowledge point for visitors and staff
Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)

Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software

High level of social intelligence; must enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

Professional demeanor, with no visible facial piercings
-
Ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships with long-term staff
