Project Administrator Needed for an Industrial Fabrication Company

Pay Rate: $27.00/HR – $32.00/HR
Location: Onsite in Seattle, WA (Harbor Island)
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Mon-Fri with Occasional Overtime
A value-driven industrial organization with approximately 1,800 employees across various states, plays a key role in supporting energy generation, infrastructure development, and national defense and needs a Project Administrator. As a Project Administrator, you will provide vital support to Project Managers and Contracts Managers ensuring seamless coordination and compliance within projects. This role involves tracking modifications, managing price proposals, and providing administrative support to the project team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office, document creation software, and a keen eye for detail.
What Your Day Looks Like:
- Act as a central point of contact for communication between project teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Facilitate the flow of information and address questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Track and manage Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Assemble and manage RCC (Request for Contract Change) packages, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and update shared project platforms, such as SharePoint, ensuring access to current information.
- Foster collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Generate and distribute project reports as required, utilizing data visualization tools when applicable.
- Review specifications and contracts to confirm alignment with project requirements and compliance standards.
- Schedule meetings, manage conference room calendars, and document agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Communicate authorized RCC requirements with suppliers and purchasing teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Track and report contract modifications and price proposals, maintaining accurate records.
- Log, transmit, and retrieve project documents, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
- Perform accurate data entry tasks and maintain databases for project documentation.
- Order and manage office supplies to support smooth daily operations.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
What You Bring:
- Basic understanding of contracts and contract requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel (formulas, graphs, data visualization).
- Previous experience in administrative support, data entry, or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint or similar).
- General contract knowledge is an asset.
