Domestic Violence Program Director needed for a local non-profit community support center in Seattle.

Pay Rate: $43.27- $55.29 per hour
Location: Seattle, WA
Work Arrangement: On-Site
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: M-F 9-5
The Domestic Violence Program Director, will oversee the operations and administration of the program, ensuring the effective delivery of services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. This role is responsible for the administrative aspects of the program such as handling contracts and grants and ensuring reporting and compliance requirements are met. The Director will lead a team of managers, supervisors, and administrative staff, guiding them to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive support to a diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the program team, fostering a collaborative work environment and setting clear goals aligned with the organization's mission
- Provide compassionate, client-centered support and advocacy for individuals fleeing domestic violence
- Oversee daily program operations, manage contracts and grants, and support administrative tasks
- Promote staff development through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Respond to emergencies and crises, coordinating resources and collaborating with local agencies to ensure client safety and well-being
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of direct social service experience
- 3-4 years of providing supervision of advocacy to victims of domestic violence within a domestic violence agency
- Prior experience in program management and development, staff training & supervision, financial management, contracting and budgeting
