The ideal Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidate will be personable, highly motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional care. This role involves a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on supporting the practice’s mission of providing personalized healthcare services.

What Your Day Looks Like:

• Provide both clinical and administrative support under the guidance of clinic providers.
• Manage patient communications, including answering phones and triaging messages or requests from patients, staff, referring physicians, and pharmacies.
• Oversee and manage the IV schedule, including treatments for hormone therapy and illness.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for services such as a la carte offerings, weight loss, and hormone therapy.
• Greet and check in patients, gather patient history, take vitals, and document in medical records.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical exams and procedures.
• Perform approved medical procedures in accordance with state regulations.
• Communicate instructions and ensure patient understanding as directed by providers or nursing staff.
• Demonstrate empathy and active listening to provide compassionate care and address patient concerns.
• Assist with scheduling tests, treatments, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked exam rooms, ensuring instruments are sterilized and supplies are adequate.
• Respond to referral and appointment requests, and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and care providers.
• Support the growth of the practice by assisting in expanding its patient base and footprint.
• Cross-train and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities efficiently.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment through clear communication and teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Valid LPN license required.
• Experience working in a practice with expertise in weight loss and hormone therapy valuable.
• Experience working in Athena or similar EMR preferred.
• Experience working in Square or other payment provider preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and adherence to protocols and procedures.
