Household Assistant Needed in the Greater Seattle Area in Washington

Pay Rate: $30.00/HR – $32.00/HR
Work Setting: Onsite in the Greater Seattle Area
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Full Time, Occasional Weekends and Holidays

A reliable and organized Household Assistant is needed in the Greater Seattle area to support the household's daily operations and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. This position requires maintaining a non-smoking environment, upholding the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for the household's privacy.

What Your Day Looks Like:

  • Perform routine cleaning and tidying, indoors and outdoors, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry, and dishwashing.
  • Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing nutritious meals for the household.
  • Maintain household organization by decluttering spaces, organizing storage areas, and managing household inventory.
  • Handle errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and mailing packages.
  • Schedule and oversee home maintenance and repair services as needed.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Prior residential, indoor and outdoor, experience or in a similar role a must.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality and respect for the privacy of the household.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Maintain a non-smoking environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weights and stand or move for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition.
  • Willingness to adjust to changing household needs and schedules.
