Remote Accounting Manager Needed for a Real Estate Tech Firm

A leading real estate technology firm seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and optimize internal processes. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, we streamline operations and enhance efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a strategic mindset to drive improvements aligned with company goals.

What Your Day Looks Like:

  • Manage and oversee the general accounting function, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and ledger accounts.
  • Supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Evaluate and enhance internal accounting processes to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Ensure that financial records and reporting comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax professionals, and other financial entities to support audits and tax filings.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to top management for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain financial integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.
  • Lead special projects as needed to improve financial operations and company growth.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation may be required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in real estate or technology industries.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
