Medical Assistant Needed for a Patient-Focused Concierge Medical Practice in Atlanta, GA

Pay Rate: $20/HR – $23/HR
Location: Onsite in Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
A concierge medical practice dedicated to personalizing the patient experience is seeking a Medical Assistant for a direct-hire position. The practice is committed to providing high-quality, individualized care in a patient-centered environment focused on building strong patient relationships, ensuring a seamless and comfortable healthcare experience.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, hard worker and dedicated Medical Assistant to be part of a collaborative team that values professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail.
What Your Day Brings:
- Perform all clinical duties associated with the back office.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs & patient history.
- Conduct EKGs and body composition assessments.
- Explain procedures to patients.
- Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and administer injections.
- Assist with minor procedures as directed by the provider.
- Follow universal precautions and maintain patient safety standards.
- Provide information on lab testing and handle medical records.
- Submit charges for records requests and collect payments as needed.
- Stock and clean exam rooms; scan and organize documentation.
- Provide front-office support when needed, including:
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
- Checking in patients and verifying insurance & demographic details.
- Collecting co-payments.
- Other Duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent patient communication and customer service abilities.
- Team player with a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and standard procedures preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
