Assessment Center Clinician Needed for a Behavioral Healthcare Provider

Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri

A behavioral healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional, integrated medical, psychological, and traditional self-help approaches to addiction treatment is seeking a skilled and compassionate Assessment Center Clinician. This role is central to supporting individuals at a critical point in their recovery journey, ensuring each client receives the appropriate level of care and support tailored to their needs.

What Your Day Brings:

  • Conduct comprehensive bio/psycho/social assessments for adult clients entering Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
  • Assess symptom severity, psychiatric status, and determine the appropriate level of care.
  • Recommend primary clinician assignments based on client needs and assessment findings.
  • Complete discharge needs assessments and coordinate follow-up evaluations.
  • Facilitate psycho-education and spirituality groups on key recovery topics such as anger management, relapse prevention, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical teams by communicating assessment results and treatment recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Master's Degree in a behavioral health discipline (required).
  • Clinical experience in substance use disorder and co-occurring psychiatric treatment preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment settings preferred.
  • LADC, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent state-recognized licensure.
  • Ability to assess client strengths, psychosocial factors, and develop effective initial treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of recovery principles and ability to lead dynamic, educational, and engaging group sessions.
  • Excellent judgment, clinical reasoning, and understanding of addiction and co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
