Facilities Project Coordinator
Location: Onsite in Renton, WA
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $30.00/hr.

Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
Schedule: Full Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (or as needed to meet departmental needs)
Position Summary
A respected healthcare provider in Renton is seeking a Facilities Project Coordinator to support its Facilities team in delivering high-impact infrastructure and space planning projects. This individual will work onsite, collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain project documentation and action item tracking.
- Support internal and external collaboration for project planning, execution, and closeout.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes.
- Manage project bid documentation and assist in public bid processes.
- Monitor project timelines, identify bottlenecks, and support resolution with project teams.
- Serve as a liaison for stakeholders, internal departments, and external contractors.
- Lead smaller projects and facilitate equipment and component installations.
- Handle logistics related to space planning, office moves, and furniture management.
- Coordinate with warehouse and ergonomics teams for equipment tracking and workspace needs.
- Support delivery of incoming materials, contractor onboarding, and background checks.
- Maintain organized project files and assist in audits and closeout documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma with 6+ years of direct project coordination experience;
OR Associate Degree in a related field with 3+ years of direct experience. - Strong knowledge of project management processes, practices, and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience in facilities or healthcare environments.
- Ability to collaborate in team settings with diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and results-oriented mindset.
