Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: 24/7 operation; must be open to any shift assignment (no exceptions)
- Shifts include:
- 6:30am–3:30pm
- 4:00pm–11:00pm
- 11:00pm–7:00am
A healthcare organization committed to compassionate and customized patient care, with a strong focus on pediatric healthcare, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team.
The Supply Chain Coordinator supports the efficient operation of hospital supply chain functions, including inventory management, replenishment, and distribution for clinical and medical-surgical units. This role serves as a key liaison between Supply Chain and end-users, ensuring timely delivery of stock and non-stock items, coordinating shipping and receiving, and assisting with recalls, substitutions, and inventory counts. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, knowledge of Lean principles, and experience with supply chain systems, paired with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities to maintain smooth and compliant supply operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage supply closets on assigned hospital floors
- Scan inventory using handheld devices and replenish as needed
- Maintain two-bin inventory systems and flip inventory cards to indicate low stock
- Pick, stage, and deliver supplies to clinical departments
- Communicate professionally with nurses, doctors, and hospital staff
- Meet inventory accuracy and performance metrics
- Other duties as assigned
- On feet throughout shift (walking, standing, stairs, elevators)
Qualifications
- Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or order fulfillment preferred
- Comfortable using scanners and inventory systems
- Experience working with metrics and performance tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Flu shot required
• Access to a computer or laptop for online orientation
