A leading medical practice specializing in orthopedic, spine, and neurological care is seeking a Radiology Technician to join the team. The practice combines professional expertise with personal care, offering cutting-edge treatment with a team of friendly, ambitious professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment.
As the Radiology Technician, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and care throughout the imaging process. You will operate imaging equipment, accurately document procedures, and collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to support efficient workflow and timely patient care. This role also involves maintaining equipment and workspaces to meet safety and cleanliness standards while serving as a professional point of contact for patients and the care team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner while preparing them for imaging procedures

Conduct diagnostic imaging exams such as X-rays and fluoroscopic procedures following provider instructions

Record imaging activities and results accurately within the electronic medical record system

Maintain and sanitize imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards

Collaborate with providers by organizing images and supporting documentation for review

Uphold a tidy, safe, and well-organized clinical workspace

Assist with clinic workflow by supporting team members and helping manage patient throughput

Serve as a courteous and knowledgeable point of contact between patients and clinical staff

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent training
-
Active certification and/or licensure as required by state regulations
-
Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy

Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and accurate documentation practices

Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and equipment handling standards

Ability to maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment within scope of role
-
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a clinical setting
-
Ability to work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff

Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment while managing multiple priorities
