Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM

As the Procurement Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day procurement of supplies, equipment, and services to ensure operational needs are met efficiently and accurately. This role partners with internal departments to process purchasing requests, coordinate with vendors, track orders, and resolve procurement-related issues while maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders for assigned departments. 

  • Coordinate the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services to support daily operations. 

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and provide procurement support. 

  • Monitor order status and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery. 

  • Resolve purchasing issues, discrepancies, and order-related inquiries. 

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within procurement systems. 

  • Review purchasing requests for accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures. 

  • Build positive working relationships with internal customers and external vendors. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and inventory needs. 

  • Assist with cost control initiatives while ensuring quality, availability, and timely fulfillment of requested items. 

  • Track purchasing activity and provide updates on order status as needed. 

  • Other duties as assigned  

  

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

  • 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience preferred. 

  • Healthcare purchasing experience is preferred but not required. 

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. 

  • Experience using purchasing, ERP, or procurement software preferred. 

  • Ability to analyze information and resolve purchasing-related issues effectively. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
