As the Associate Batchmixer, you will support the production of high-quality finished products by accurately weighing, blending, and processing raw materials according to established procedures. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, complete required production documentation, and ensure materials meet quality and safety standards throughout the process. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to working safely and collaboratively in a regulated manufacturing environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Weigh, measure, and combine raw materials according to approved batch records and production procedures. 

  • Set up, operate, and clean blending, compaction, milling, and related production equipment. 

  • Verify ingredients, calculations, equipment cleanliness, and batch documentation throughout the manufacturing process. 

  • Monitor blending and granulation processes to ensure finished materials meet established quality specifications. 

  • Complete production records, equipment logs, reconciliations, and required SAP and weighing-system transactions. 

  • Label, transfer, and store blended materials using proper handling and storage procedures. 

  • Follow established safety, quality, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. 

  • Cross-train and provide support in encapsulation, coating, sampling, packaging, warehouse, and other production areas as needed. 

  • Other duties as assigned  

  

Qualifications  

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 

  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Chemical Technology or a related field preferred. 

  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated experience preferred. 

  • Working knowledge of cGMP requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production documentation. 

  • Strong math skills with the ability to accurately perform calculations and work with metric measurements. 

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment. 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring materials and completing documentation. 

  • Comfortable using standard computer applications; experience with SAP or similar manufacturing systems preferred. 

  • Ability to maintain an organized, clean, and safety-conscious work environment. 

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with a dependable and professional approach to work. 

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of a manufacturing environment, including sustained activity throughout the shift. 

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime based on production needs.
