Schedule: Full Time

What Your Day Looks Like:

Perform direct patient care duties under the supervision of a licensed provider (MD/PA/NP) or RN, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach.

Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and other clinical data accurately and efficiently.

Administer a limited profile of medications/injections per approved policy, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.

Conduct simple diagnostic tests, collect specimens, and perform phlebotomy with attention to detail and patient comfort.

Assist with EKGs and manual blood pressure measurements, demonstrating technical proficiency and care.

Maintain clean and well-stocked exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.

Assist in emergency situations as directed by the provider or RN, responding calmly and effectively.

Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for accurate data entry and documentation.
-
Foster positive patient interactions by providing clear communication, reassurance, and exceptional customer service.

What You Bring:
-
High school diploma or GED from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization.
-
Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
-
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from AAMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or MedCA.

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in behavioral health

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients of all age groups.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic outpatient setting while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
