An internal medicine practice in Fayetteville, GA is looking to hire an experienced Office Manager to assist with everyday practice operations. As the Office Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of both front and back office functions, ensuring smooth patient flow, efficient scheduling, and optimal resource coordination.  

This role involves supervising administrative and clinical support staff, maintaining regulatory compliance including HIPAA standards, and supporting billing, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes. You will manage vendor relationships, inventory, and office supplies, while also implementing and upholding office policies. A key focus of this role is fostering a professional, team-oriented environment that prioritizes high-quality patient care and service excellence.

What Your Day Looks Like: 

  • Lead and provide guidance to a team of front and back office personnel 

  • Coordinate daily administrative functions, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation 

  • Step in to perform front-desk responsibilities such as managing check-ins, check-outs, and handling phone inquiries 

  • Ensure adherence to medical office standards and strict HIPAA compliance 

  • Manage office inventory, place supply orders, and maintain vendor partnerships 

  • Assist with billing, insurance verifications, and obtaining prior authorizations as necessary 

  • Develop, implement, and uphold office protocols and standard operating procedures 

  • Promote a collaborative environment focused on accountability and exceptional patient care 

  • Other Duties as Assigned 

  
What You Bring: 

  • Proven experience in a medical office or clinic setting 

  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience (3+ years preferred) 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Ability to multitask and solve problems proactively 

  • Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems. They use EPIC, but it is not a must (e.g., Epic, Kareo, Athena – customizable) 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus 

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.  

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and interact with patients empathetically and professionally. 

  • Demonstrate commitment to service excellence by creating positive first impressions, ensuring high-touch, patient-centered care, and continuously improving processes.
