Bilingual Collections Specialist needed for a federally chartered credit union.

Pay Rate: $22-23 hour
Work Arrangement: Remote Position
Employment Type: Contract 4-5 months (potential to extend)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm Pacific Hours (Flexible)
Must be bilingual in Spanish to be considered!

Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and proactively contact members who have delinquent consumer loans (from 1 to 45 days delinquent) to arrange for payment
- Set up workout payment plans and identify candidates for financial hardship assistance
- Perform collection activities, such as light skip-tracing, restricting or offsetting accounts
Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish) – Fluent required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 6 months experience in an outbound call, service focused call center environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations such as the FDCPA, UDAAP and Reg Z
