Nonprofit Case Study

Serving Communities & Saving Lives with an Accelerated Staffing Engine

Leveraging Advanced Search Tools & Automation to Rapidly Onboard Candidates

  • Challenge:

A respected local nonprofit organization that provided critical community resources was selected by Washington state to stand up a statewide COVID-19 vaccination line. To staff the line and prepare for the heavy wave of calls to come, they had to hire a high volume of agents with a very quick turnaround. In addition, key project information was constantly evolving due to primary stakeholders being the state and Department of Health. As a result, our client also had limited internal resources to execute staffing at scale within the required deadlines.

  • Solution:

Parker jumped into action and built a custom staffing engine that included full-cycle recruiting and onboarding. We developed a target profile and were able to quickly attract, screen, place, and onboard agents across Washington state. We also served as the overall project and hiring managers to free up client time. Relying on tools such as messaging automation, our operations team moved swiftly to help candidates navigate a complex onboarding process and start on time.

  • Results:

Parker hired over 150 remote agents in nine days—an internal record! Due to our initial success, more counties asked for vaccination line support, and we hired additional agents. Most importantly, our speed to hire enabled our client to make a significant impact in getting Washington vaccinated.
