Recruiter Needed for a Disaster Restoration Company

Pay Rate: $32.00 – $42.00/hr
Location: Onsite in Norwalk, CT
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: Full Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

A fast-growing disaster restoration company is seeking a proactive Recruiter to support its administrative and field operations. This full-cycle recruiting role focuses on sourcing, screening, and onboarding top talent for essential office and administrative roles, playing a key part in ensuring smooth internal operations across departments.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a team that powers emergency response and recovery efforts—making a difference both in the office and in the communities we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like:

  • Collaborate with department leads to assess staffing needs for administrative and support functions.
  • Write, post, and maintain compelling job descriptions across relevant job boards and platforms.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for a range of roles, including:
  • Senior and Mid-Level Management
  • Office Administrators
  • Field Technicians
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer acceptance.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure records are up to date and compliant.
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Represent Hightower’s brand and values in all candidate interactions. What You Bring:
    • 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in administrative, office, or service-based roles.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
    • Familiarity with the restoration or disaster response industry is a plus.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and open requisitions simultaneously.
    • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
