Radiology Technician Needed for a Healthcare Organization in Augusta, GA

Pay Rate: $27.05/hr  
Location: Onsite in Augusta, GA 
Employment Type: Direct Hire 
Schedule: Full Time, 2 Positions available 

  • Friday –Sunday, 7 PM – 7:30 AM 

  • Tuesday  – Thursday, 2 PM – 12:30 AM 

  
A leading healthcare organization in Georgia is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Radiology Technician to support with operating radiologic equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and adhering to established protocols and regulatory standards. The Radiology Technician collaborates with medical staff across departments to deliver timely and accurate imaging services within a fast-paced hospital environment.

What Your Day Looks Like: 

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge in the performance of assigned modality imaging while adhering to department protocol and standards 

  • Apply principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, self and others 

  • Perform imaging exams consistent to assigned modality in a variety of settings 

  • Evaluate images for technical quality 

  • Perform post processing of data 

  • Ensure proper patient identification is recorded 

  • Provide optimal patient care and assume responsibility for patient needs during their procedures 

  • Apply principles of patient safety during all aspects of patient care  

  • Strictly adhere to principle of aseptic technique and hand washing policies 

  • Other Duties as Assigned  

  
What You Bring: 

  • Certificate Radiologic Technology 

  • Basic Life Support or BLS – Instructor 

  • Minimum 1 –2 years diagnostic experience (CT, IR, Mammography, MRI) 

  • Ability to operate appropriate modality imaging equipment based on department 

  • Ability to communicate verbally and written 

  • Possess excellent patient/customer service skills
