Office Assistant needed for private school in Seattle, WA. 
 
Job ID: 24798
Pay Rate: $24 – $28 per hour
Location: Seattle, WA 
Hours: Part-time 20 hours per week 
Work Arrangement: On-Site Position 
Employment Type: Contract (3-4 months)
 
The Office Assistant will support administrative, human resources, and accounting efforts at a highly-regarded private school in Seattle. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR Specialist and Payroll Manager with personnel and payroll duties 
  • Check faculty absence reports
  • Organize payroll backup materials
  • Support the AR/AP Manager with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • File AP invoices and other records
  • Assist with weekly AP batch – checking totals, receipts, and some simple data entry
  • Input AP in MIP accounting system, once reviewed and coded
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • Sort and organize mail
  • Scan documents for monthly loan draw
  • Assist Controller with budget reporting
  • Format monthly Budget to Actuals reports provided by Controller
