As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide direct therapeutic services to clients through individual, group and or family counseling sessions. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Some tasks you’ll be responsible for.

Providing individual, group and family therapy

Serving as a liaison with families and outpatient providers

Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
-
Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
-
Provide safe, empathetic and affirming care for clients
-
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-
Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality requirements in line with state laws and board regulations

Other duties as assigned
What skills & responsibilities we’ll be looking for.

Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or Related Discipline (Required)

State License or License-Eligible in a Counseling Field (Psychology, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)

Prior experience in caring for individuals with eating disorders and high levels of care preferred
-
Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices

Adhere to established work schedules, including proper notice for absences and tardiness.
