Service Line Navigator needed to support primary care clinics for a Georgia healthcare company.  

Job ID: 24885  

Pay Rate: $23 per hour 

Location: Augusta, GA 

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire 

Work Arrangement: On-Site  

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 Hour Shift, 8 AM to 5 PM

As the Service Line Navigator, you will act as a liaison between the client's scheduling department, patients, referring providers and clinicians. You will specialize in referral management and have exceptional capacity for appointing patients by working internal or external provider referrals and managing urgent requests for scheduling.  
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Confirm appointments are scheduling in appropriate slots 

  • Confirm overbooks are correctly approved 

  • Facilitate outbound efforts to increase patient visits 

  • Coordinate assessment with clinical leadership 

  • Work directly with nurse/clinic managers to ensure urgent patients are scheduled in the appropriate time 

  • Participate in clinic and department meetings 

  • Appointment reconciliations 

  • Utilize different scheduling systems and software to effectively support clinic operations 

  • Reporting and monitoring of different clinic statistics 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 
Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 5 Years of Experience Scheduling Patients (Required)
  • Experience using Epic (Required)
  • Must be within 30 miles from downtown Augusta, GA
  • Complete training to earn a Certified Specialist Physician Practice Management (CSPPM) during assignment (Required)
  • Abide by strict confidentiality standards 

  • General computer skills  

  • Vaccination Requirements 

  • This Season's Flu Vaccination  

  • MMR (2 Vaccines or Titer showing immunity) 

  • Varicella (2 Vaccines or Titer showing immunity) 

  • TB Test within the last 30 days 

*A 10-year background check and 9 panel-drug screen are required.
