The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for assessing needs, developing behavior intervention plans, and ensuring effective implementation to support client growth. This role balances clinical expertise with the ability to train and guide staff while maintaining open communication with families. With a manageable caseload of 8–10 individuals, the BCBA has the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact through personalized, evidence-based care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the delivery of ABA therapy services for adults with dual diagnoses of IDD and mental health conditions.

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention and Crisis Plans.

Train, supervise, and support staff in the implementation of behavior strategies and treatment plans.

Monitor client progress, analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes.

Ensure compliance with ethical standards, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Provide ongoing education and coaching to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.

Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and program development initiatives.

Qualifications

Current and active certification with the Board of Applied Behavior Analysis as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

Eligible for licensure as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in the State of Georgia

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field required

Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans.

Strong clinical knowledge of evidence-based behavior analysis practices.

Experience working with individuals with IDD and co-occurring mental health diagnoses preferred.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.

Strong organizational and data analysis skills to monitor treatment progress and make data-driven decisions.

Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional and regulatory guidelines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
