Pay Rate: $40 – $44 per HR
Location: Onsite in Ochopee, Florida
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: 12 Hours Shifts ; Day Shift (9 AM to 9 PM) OR Night Shift (9 PM to 9 AM)

The Radiology Technician plays a key role in supporting diagnostic and patient care services by operating advanced imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and safe procedures, and maintaining strict radiation safety standards. This position is responsible for preparing and monitoring patients throughout the process, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and maintaining radiology equipment. In addition to technical duties, the Radiology Technician may assist with administrative tasks and provide basic patient care support as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate advanced imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures accurately and safely.

Prepare patients for imaging exams by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort.

Adhere to established radiation safety protocols, including the proper use of protective equipment.

Monitor patients during procedures and maintain high-quality imaging records.

Handle, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Process and develop imaging films or digital files as required for diagnostic use.

Document findings, complete reports, and communicate results to supervising medical staff.

Assist with administrative duties, scheduling, and patient documentation when needed.

Support nursing staff or perform basic medical assistant functions as appropriate.

Qualifications

Florida DOH license
-
American Heart Association BLS Certification
-
Corrections experience is not required.

Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include a drug screen and criminal background check.

Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship available).

Bilingual Spanish preferred
Work Environment

Security present with clinicians at all times, you will be working in a clinical setting
