A leading provider of patient-centered advanced, minimally invasive treatments, specializing in addressing acute and chronic pain conditions of the neck, back, and joints through state-of-the-art, non-surgical techniques is seeking an Associate Vice President of Operations.  

   

As the Associate Vice President, you will be responsible for overseeing regional operations and driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and service excellence. The position leads the planning and execution of operational strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regional objectives. It also directs and develops high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and consistency across regions to achieve both short- and long-term operational success. 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional care delivery, service quality, and operational efficiency. 

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align operational goals with the organization’s overall mission and vision. 

  • Partner with executive leadership to set company objectives, providing expert insight and guidance on process improvement and systems optimization. 

  • Collaborate across departments and service lines to drive organizational initiatives and achieve shared goals. 

  • Maintain a strategic focus on patient satisfaction, anticipating needs and aligning services with evolving healthcare trends. 

  • Apply strong business and financial acumen to optimize staffing, budgets, margins, and ROI while ensuring sustainable growth. 

  • Review and approve cost-control measures, financial forecasts, and staffing plans to ensure fiscal responsibility. 

  • Present key operational metrics, reports, and performance insights to senior leadership. 

  • Anticipate and resolve complex challenges through proactive, data-driven problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration. 

  • Establish and maintain operational policies, standards, and compliance practices to ensure consistent execution and regulatory adherence. 

  • Engage corporate partners and regional teams in strategic planning and performance initiatives. 

  • Evaluate systems, structures, and workflows to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with best practices. 

  • Lead and mentor senior operations leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth. 

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across all operational levels to ensure alignment and transparency. 

  • Provide leadership oversight to clinics and ambulatory surgery centers with multiple lines of service. 

  • Manage approximately five direct reports and 500 indirect employees. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational success.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree strongly preferred (or equivalent work experience with a significant business focus) 

  • 10+ years' experience in a healthcare business environment or related industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing others 

  • Demonstrated experience with medical information management systems 

  • Experience in an Operations function 

  • Healthcare experience managing in a medical, pharmacy, or other similar healthcare environment 

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Prior experience utilizing an electronic health record, preferably as a Super User.
