Recruiter for a financial banking institution corporate office in Downtown Seattle

Pay Rate: $30/hr
Location: Onsite in Downtown Seattle
Employment Type: Contract 6 months
Schedule: Full time M-F
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To better support sourcing efforts, address urgent needs, and improve time to fill, we are requesting to bring on an additional Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist with sourcing and phone screens.
What you will be doing:
- Identify, source and recruit qualified candidates utilizing diverse methods including internet sites, employee referrals, direct sourcing and networking forums. Build a solid relationship with hiring managers and knowledge of various banking departments along with an understanding of history, culture and fit. Be a trusted advisor with the business and hiring managers.
- Act as advocate for both the business and candidates throughout the hiring process, establish regular touch points and be diligent with follow-through. Identify challenges and develop solutions that will result in recruitment improvements. Work with a strong sense of urgency and fulfil the highest priority needs for the company.
- Create “eye-catching” job postings to attract top talent and grow a strong talent pipeline. Build strategic partnerships with colleges, community-based organizations and government agencies by attending job fairs, mock interviews, conducting workshops or other recruiting activities. Partner with cross functional teams, HR Business Partners and HR operations teams as needed through the recruiting process.
- Manage and document hiring requirements, interview process and hiring decisions. Negotiate compensation package/offers and obtain offer approvals from proper approval chains and successfully close candidates.
- Manage background process, working with HR staff to ensure process is completed. Track, maintain and improve recruitment metrics.
- Create offers letters and other pre/post-employment activities in line with employment laws and Human Resources policies and procedures. Assist with recruitment files including the Affirmative Action Plan and EEO information.
Qualifications
- Three (3) + years of experience of full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing passive & active candidates, knowledge of screening tools and methodologies (in house or agency experience). Prior experience with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Job Boards, Boolean, social media or other recruiting tools/systems. Experience in a Bank or Financial Industry a plus.
- Experience recruiting in internal corporate environment is ideal.
- Proven and successful track record of engaging, selling and recruiting candidates. Experience with competency-based interviewing techniques a plus. Knowledge of Workday and /or other ATS systems.
- Bachelors preferred
