Schedule: Monday-Saturday (off on Sunday and one other assigned day), 6 AM – 2:30 PM
  
A healthcare organization committed to compassionate and customized patient care, with a strong focus on pediatric healthcare, is seeking a Hospital Linen Production Helper to join the team. 

   

As the Hospital Linen Production Helper you will support daily linen processing operations by sorting, inspecting, folding, and preparing clean linens for distribution. This role requires operating production equipment, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and meeting established quality and productivity standards. Successful candidates are dependable team players who can follow instructions, perform repetitive physical tasks, and adapt to varying work schedules. 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Process hospital linens by feeding flatwork into ironers and folders and performing manual folding as needed. 

  • Inspect, sort, and remove stained, damaged, or unusable linens according to quality standards. 

  • Fold, organize, and stack clean linens neatly on designated racks or storage areas. 

  • Meet established production and quality benchmarks in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Operate and maintain linen processing equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines. 

  • Set up, maintain, and break down workstations to support daily production needs. 

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the production area. 

  • Work collaboratively with team members to support workflow and departmental goals. 

  • Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and safety requirements. 

  • Other duties as assigned  

  

Qualifications  

  • Process linens using production equipment, including feeding, folding, and stacking items as required. 

  • Must wear close toed shoes.
    Inspect and sort linens, removing stained or damaged items in accordance with quality standards. 

  • Maintain organized storage of clean linens and support efficient workflow. 

  • Meet established productivity and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Operate and care for equipment while following safety and operational procedures. 

  • Set up, maintain, and clean workstations and surrounding production areas. 

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals. 

  • Follow verbal and written instructions in English. 

  • Demonstrate attention to detail during sorting, folding, and quality checks. 

  • Perform repetitive tasks requiring prolonged standing, lifting, and physical stamina. 

  • Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
