Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ambulatory Credentialing Specialist (ASC Credentialing Specialist) to join their administrative team in Lawrenceville, GA. This role is responsible for ensuring medical professionals and facilities maintain proper licensure and credentials while remaining compliant with regulatory and insurance requirements.
The ideal candidate is reliable, mature, and a straightforward thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple credentialing processes simultaneously. This position requires at least 2 years of credentialing experience.
As the ASC Credentialing Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance standards and supporting healthcare providers through accurate and timely credentialing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify licensure and credentials of medical professionals and healthcare facilities
- Track licensure expiration dates and ensure timely renewals
- Complete and submit credentialing applications to insurance companies and Medicare
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date credentialing files
- Communicate with medical professionals and facilities regarding credentialing status and documentation requirements
- Utilize Excel and Microsoft Office programs to manage data and reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of credentialing experience required
- Experience with medical, facility, physician, Medicare, and insurance credentialing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
