A leading provider of patient-centered advanced, minimally invasive treatments, specializing in addressing acute and chronic pain conditions of the neck, back, and joints through state-of-the-art, non-surgical techniques is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator.  

As the ASC Administrator, you will oversee the operational and regulatory functions of multiple ambulatory surgery center locations, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and governing agencies. You will partner with leadership to maintain survey readiness, manage accreditation timelines, and align policies and procedures across sites. This role is responsible for supporting credentialing processes, guiding teams through accreditation surveys, and serving as a key liaison between staff, surveyors, and leadership while promoting consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all facilities. 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Oversee administrative and operational functions across ambulatory surgery center (ASC) locations to ensure consistency and compliance 

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, including CMS, ACHC, DEA, and other governing entities 

  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure all ASC sites remain compliant with required policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations 

  • Track accreditation timelines and proactively manage expiration dates to ensure readiness for initial and re-accreditation surveys 

  • Lead accreditation preparedness efforts, ensuring all facilities are survey-ready and aligned with current standards 

  • Maintain and update ASC policy and procedure documentation, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory and accrediting body requirements 

  • Standardize and align policy and procedure manuals across all ASC locations to ensure consistency 

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all accrediting body requirements through regular monitoring and internal audits 

  • Provide direct support to facility teams and medical professionals throughout the survey process, including responding to surveyor inquiries as needed 

  • Serve as the liaison between surveyors, medical staff, and senior leadership during accreditation reviews and inspections 

  • Communicate credentialing status and compliance updates with providers and facility leadership 

  • Travel to ASC locations to provide on-site support during surveys and assist with compliance-related initiatives 

  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to maintain continuous compliance across all facilities 

  • Support training and education efforts for staff on accreditation standards, regulatory updates, and operational best practices 

  • Other duties as assigned  

  

Qualifications  

  • Demonstrated experience supporting ASC credentialing processes, with familiarity in CMS and ACHC survey requirements 

  • Working knowledge of accreditation and re-accreditation survey preparation and execution 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for tracking, reporting, and documentation 

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex documentation and compliance requirements accurately 

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clinical staff, leadership, and external agencies 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment 

  • Experience utilizing electronic health record systems, such as eClinicalWorks, is preferred 

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience is preferred
