Location: Onsite in Tukwila, WA
Employment Type: Contract, approx. 3-4 months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5/6 PM

As the Senior Branch Representative, you will provide exceptional service by helping members achieve their financial goals through personalized guidance and comprehensive banking solutions. This role serves as a trusted resource for members and team members alike, supporting complex account needs, mentoring staff, and contributing to branch success through collaboration, operational excellence, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, knowledgeable in financial services, and committed to delivering an outstanding member experience while supporting the credit union's continued growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding member service by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate solutions.

Assist members with accounts, transactions, and credit union products across all service channels.

Open and maintain consumer and specialized accounts, including IRAs, business, trust, and estate accounts.

Provide financial education to help members achieve their goals.

Support daily branch operations and perform advanced member service functions as needed.

Mentor team members and promote collaboration across the branch.

Resolve complex member issues while identifying risks and recommending solutions.

Participate in branch projects and process improvement initiatives.

Develop community relationships and support business development efforts.

Represent the credit union at community and networking events.

Maintain required certifications, licenses, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required; bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.

Two or more years of retail banking or credit union experience.

Proven success promoting and selling financial products and services.

Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound decision-making abilities.

Ability to build strong relationships with members and provide exceptional customer service.

Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting the development of team members preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to interpret and apply organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Flexible to work at multiple branch locations as needed.

Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion training or related experience is a plus.

Additional experience within a financial institution is preferred.
