As the Workplace Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day office operations while creating a welcoming, efficient, and well-supported workplace for employees. This role will manage office resources, vendors, equipment, and workplace logistics while developing processes that help the team operate smoothly. You will also play an important role in supporting the setup of a new office space, anticipating employee needs, and identifying thoughtful ways to enhance the overall workplace experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, comfortable making independent decisions, and excited to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Oversee day-to-day workplace operations to ensure a smooth, comfortable, and productive office environment. 

  • Support the setup and launch of a new office space while managing operations from a temporary location. 

  • Coordinate office equipment, printers, supplies, technology needs, and other workplace resources. 

  • Develop and implement workplace processes, procedures, and operational standards. 

  • Make independent, timely decisions to resolve workplace needs and keep operations moving efficiently. 

  • Anticipate employee needs and create a welcoming environment through thoughtful amenities, supplies, and workplace enhancements. 

  • Partner closely with employees and leadership to quickly identify and address office-related needs. 

  • Manage vendors, service providers, deliveries, maintenance requests, and other workplace logistics. 

  • Stay informed on emerging workplace and technology trends and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience. 

  • Support meetings, events, office projects, and other operational initiatives as needed. 

  • Adapt communication and support styles to work effectively with a variety of personalities and working preferences. 

  • Maintain flexibility to occasionally support workplace needs outside of standard business hours. 

  • Other duties as assigned  

  

Qualifications  

  • 3+ years of experience in workplace operations, office management, facilities coordination, or a similar role. 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions with limited direction. 

  • Experience developing or improving office processes, procedures, and workflows. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and communication styles. 

  • Proactive, resourceful, and attentive to employee needs and the overall workplace experience. 

  • Comfortable coordinating office equipment, supplies, vendors, and general workplace logistics. 

  • Interest in technology and willingness to stay current on tools and trends that may improve workplace operations. 

  • Flexible and team-oriented, with a willingness to support occasional needs outside of standard business hours. 

  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling workplace matters. 

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a collaborative environment where priorities and decisions may move quickly.
