Schedule: Flexible 40 Hour Work Week with occasional Saturday coverage, No Sundays, May require extended evening hours for late, midnight games. 

 
 

A prominent Georgia-based healthcare system, recognized for its innovative, patient-centered care, is seeking a passionate Athletic Trainer (AT) to support athletes and active individuals in accordance with Georgia and/or South Carolina state practice acts. Duties include injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, and close collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate a safe, efficient return to activity.

Open to recent Master’s graduates passionate about athletic training.  

The Athletic Trainer encompasses work in various settings: 

  • Collegiate, high school, and middle school outreach. 
  • Community and special event coverage. 
  • Clinical physician support. 

Requirements: 

  • Athletic Training Degree from a CAATE-accredited institution. 
  • Board of Certification (ATC) and appropriate state licensure as an Athletic Trainer (GA and/or SC). 
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). 

Work Locations Include: 

  • 6 Schools in Richmond County, GA. 
  • 2 Private Schools in Augusta, GA. 
  • 4 Schools in Aiken, SC. 

What Does Your Day Look Like: 

  • Adhere to physician and departmental scheduling protocols to correctly and accurately schedule patients for appointments that best fit the patient's schedule  
  • Listen to patient needs / concerns and provide accurate information  
  • Follow company policies and compliance standards including confidentiality  
  • Share information effectively, ensuring patients and families receive timely, complete, and accurate details to actively participate in care and decision-making. 
  • Review patient accounts and update records with insurance and demographic information   
  • Other duties as assigned  

  
 
What You Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field (Master’s Degree Preferred). 
  • (REQUIRED) Athletic Training Degree from a CAATE accredited institution. 
  • (REQUIRED) Board of Certification (ATC) and appropriate state licensure as an Athletic Trainer (GA and/or SC). 
  • (REQUIRED) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, timeliness, organization, leadership, and flexibility. 
  • Certification and licensure costs: $150 for GA renewal and $100 for SC renewal. 

  
  
Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Salary Range: $50,000–$80,000 annually (commensurate with experience). 
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000. 
  • Relocation Assistance: $5,000. 
  • CME Allocation: $3,000 for professional development.
