Pay Rate: $25–30 per hour
Location: Remote (Some event coordination/attendance is required)
Employment Type: Contract (through end of 2026, potential to extend into Jan 2027 and convert to full-time)
Schedule: Part-Time (approx. 20 hours/week; flexible, must attend Thursday morning meetings)

As the Fundraising Events Assistant, you’ll be responsible for supporting fundraising operations, donor logistics, and event coordination—especially leading up to and following major fundraising events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can bring structure to complex, multi-layered initiatives.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support multiple event planning committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking action items
  • Assist with donor and sponsorship management, including outreach, tracking, and follow-up
  • Support logistics for fundraising events, including ticketing, guest coordination, and registration tracking (dietary needs, accessibility, etc.)
  • Manage raffle item procurement and coordination of donated goods
  • Maintain and update donor CRM systems (e.g., Little Green Light, Raiser's Edge)
  • Assist with communications related to events, including social media and donor outreach
  • Provide backend support for fundraising tools (e.g., text-to-give platforms)
  • Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling
  • Handle post-event follow-up including donor acknowledgements and corporate matching
  • Process incoming donations and ensure accurate donor records
  • Provide general administrative and program support for additional initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or event coordination preferred
  • Experience working with donor CRM systems (Little Green Light, Raiser's Edge, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to take initiative
  • Experience supporting fundraising events or donor engagement efforts highly preferred
