As the Payroll Specialist, you will support the day-to-day administration of HR operations by managing employee lifecycle transactions, maintaining accurate employee records, and assisting with payroll, timekeeping, and compliance activities. This role serves as a key resource for employees and internal stakeholders, helping ensure efficient processes, data integrity, and a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Process employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, job changes, compensation updates, and separations. 

  • Maintain accurate employee data and records within Workday and HR systems. 

  • Support payroll operations through data validation and issue resolution. 

  • Assist with time and attendance administration. 

  • Conduct HR data audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. 

  • Support compliance, audit-readiness, and recordkeeping activities. 

  • Manage employee documentation and operational workflows. 

  • Partner with internal teams to resolve HR operations and employee data issues. 

  • Other duties as assigned  

  

Qualifications  

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, Human Resources, or a related field. 

  • Strong experience working with Workday or similar HRIS platforms. 

  • Experience processing employee lifecycle transactions with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Knowledge of HR processes, employee records management, and compliance requirements. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. 

  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications.
