As the Employee Navigator Specialist, you will serve as the organization’s technical expert for the Employee Navigator platform, overseeing benefits system configuration, carrier integrations, and ongoing platform administration. In this role, you will support internal teams and clients by resolving complex benefits technology issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring accurate, efficient benefits administration. You will also play a key role in leading the growth of the organization’s benefits technology function by developing best practices, improving processes, and helping shape the future of the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Configure and maintain employee benefit plans within the Employee Navigator platform.

Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot carrier integrations and EDI feed connections.

Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Employee Navigator, providing technical guidance and platform support.

Manage platform implementation, system configuration, and ongoing benefits administration workflows.

Troubleshoot enrollment, eligibility, and system-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Develop, document, and improve processes to enhance benefits technology operations and efficiency.

Support account management and benefits teams with technical questions and platform functionality.

Communicate directly with clients to resolve escalated technical issues and implementation challenges.

Ensure data accuracy and system integrity across benefit plans and carrier connections.

Identify opportunities to optimize platform performance and streamline administrative processes.

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the organization’s benefits technology function.

Assist in building and expanding internal capabilities, best practices, and operational standards for Employee Navigator.

Qualifications

3–7+ years of experience in employee benefits administration, brokerage operations, or a related field.

Extensive hands-on experience with the Employee Navigator platform.

Proven experience configuring carrier feeds, EDI integrations, and benefits system implementations.

Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plans.

Excellent technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience supporting benefits technology platforms and system administration.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in providing leadership and helping build and grow a benefits technology function.

Active Life & Health insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain licensure upon hire.
